Democrats are buying votes with our tax money

What has been obvious to many Republicans from the beginning of the Democrat victory, with the 2006 congressional off-year election and culminating in the general election in November 2008, the Democrats plan on a complete takeover of the U.S. government. They began immediately to ensure the continuation of Democrat control in subsequent elections by buying votes.

We have bailed out banks, insurance companies, purchased two auto manufacturing companies, Giving stimulus packages (which are not working), and now talking about another stimulus, helping moms with taxpayer money to go to college, increasing aid to college students, etc.

Now we find that more stimulus money is going to the states which voted for Obama. And it has happened openly. That takes a lot of brass, but if the Democrats believe their vote buying will work, why not? This is the arrogance of a controlling cabal!

The Democrats in the House are determined to get the votes so they are offering billions of deficit spending pork to buy the votes they can not get any other way. This is despicable behavior and regardless whether it is done all the time in this time of huge deficits it is totally irresponsible. Read story.

Billions in aid go to areas that backed Obama in '08
By Brad Heath, USA TODAY 2009-07-08
WASHINGTON — Billions of dollars in federal aid delivered directly to the local level to help revive the economy have gone overwhelmingly to places that supported President Obama in last year's presidential election.

That aid — about $17 billion — is the first piece of the administration's massive stimulus package that can be tracked locally. Much of it has followed a well-worn path to places that regularly collect a bigger share of federal grants and contracts, guided by formulas that have been in place for decades and leave little room for manipulation. According to the U.S. National Debt Clock, the national debt at 12:35 pm on July 11, 2009 reached $11,533,349,060,257.17. That is, 11 trillion 500 billion plus. This makes the mind go blank.

Now, due to complaints from the press, the Obama administration is proposing aid to small business. But, I have a feeling as more and more Independents lose faith in the administration; some Democrats will also follow. Maybe this will increase the number of Republicans in both the House and the Senate after the election of November, 2010. Let’s hope so.
